Polly R. (nee Adams) Brooks of Loveland. Devoted wife of 58 years to James H. Brooks. Loving mother of Joy (Mark) Dowdall, Sheila Gale (Tony) Oldham, and the late James H. Brooks, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Aaron, Rachel, Jesse, Bethany, Anthony, Joe, Nick, Kenneth, Alexander, and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Sherry (Jerry) Plummer, Sheila (Steve) Peckinpaugh, Sylvia (Larry) Wadle, Tom (Michele) Witt, and the late Chris Adams, Roger Adams, and Joe Adams. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Witt; step-father, John Witt; and father, Verlon Adams. Passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the age of 78.

Polly lived her life as a devout Christian. She attended Charis Bible College and Miami University, where she earned her nursing degree. She devoted her life caring for others as a Registered Nurse and most importantly, taking care of her husband for the last 18 years. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 15 from 3-5 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at 11 AM at Laurel North Cemetery, Laurel, Indiana.
