Phyllis Jean Coogan, 89, of Fayetteville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2020 with her husband at her side. Born on May 31, 1930 in Lebanon, Ohio, daughter of Floyd and Ruth (nee Bailey) Kilburn. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Thomas Coogan; loving mother of Yvonne (Ron) Abner and Starla Patton; proud grandmother of Hana (Jason) Gibson and Randy (Tara) Patton; great-grandmother of Raelynn Patton and Oliver Patton; dear sister of Bonnie Blanton. Along with her parents, Phyllis Jean was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty, Barb, Sandy, and Bob. The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ohio.
