Phyllis Ann (Boyd) Smith, of Blanchester, OH. She was born on October 30, 1934 a daughter of Russian and Beatrice (McCall) Boyd and passed away September 29, 2013 at the age of 78. She was a devoted wife of Franklin R. Smith for 58 years. Phyllis retired from Robert Shaw Controls after 14 years. She enjoyed cooking , sending cards and was devoted to her family. She is survived by her children, Mike (Pam) Smith of Blanchester, Debbie (Larry) Johnson of Blanchester, Frankie (Maria) Smith of Morrow; grandchildren, Jamie Williams, Christina Davis, Christopher Johnson, Joe (Annie) Williams, Matthew Smith, Sarah Johnson, Stephanie Johnson, Ben Smith, Sam Smith and Emma Smith; Great grandchildren, 6 ; Sisters Eldiva Jackson and Donna Sue Chenoweth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Smith, Brothers Edwin Boyd, Morgan Boyd, Frances Johnson, sisters, Goldie McMurray and Dorothy Finch. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday October 3, 2013 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday October 4, 2013 at the Blanchester Church of the Nazarene 10451 St. Rt. 28 W. Blanchester, OH 45107 with Rev. Paul Crisp officiating.
