Phillip Edward Allen 83, of Blanchester, passed away Thursday July 16, 2015. A Purple Heart recipient of the Korean War and member of the American Legion Post 179. Born August 5, 1931 the son of the late Albert and Harriet Allen. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Shaw) and the late Juanita Allen. Survived by 7 Step Children, Robert (Linda), John (Sherrie), Brian, Roger (Debbie), Scott, Andy (Amanda) Lance and Julie (Steve) Stanforth. Also surviving nieces and nephews, Monty, Tom, Kim, Amy, Christine and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Preceding him in death a sister Doris Fisher, and, Brothers James and Ross Allen. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday July 20, 2015 at Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Blanchester. Visitation from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM with services immediately following, with Pastor Paul Crisp officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery in Newtonsville, Ohio.
