Phillip C. Palmer, 74, of Blanchester, OH. Passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2013 at his home. Phillip was born November 5, 1938 to Phillip E. and Ann (nee Bach) Palmer. Phillip was a US Marine Veteran and worked as a truck driver with R&L Trucking. He was an avid Nascar, Dale Earnhart Jr. fan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Linda (nee Burdine) Palmer; children, Debbie (Chris) Vincent of Clearwater, FL, Jeffrey Burdine of Cincinnati, OH, Jay Lee (Shannon) Palmer of Blanchester, OH, and Kevin Scott (Ashley) Chappell El Paso, TX; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Lawrence Palmer; sisters; Phyllis Lockwood, and Gloria Justice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Palmer. Funeral services will be held at 8 PM on Wednesday September 4, 2013 with the Rev. John Hoover officiating, at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107 where friends will be received from 6 PM until time of service.
