Philip "Gene" E. Silvey, Sr., 66, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away May 14, 2015. Born April 7, 1949 to Opal T. Arnett and the late Perry Silvey. Philip was the beloved husband of 46 years to Anita (nee Hargett) Silvey; Dear father of Philip (Amy) Silvey, Jr.; Loving grandfather of Sammie, Matt, Katie, Justin, Greg, and Thomas; Proud great-grandfather of Nevaeh, RJ, Sean, and Lydia; Brother of Connie (Dan) Duvall, Richard Silvey, and Donald Kareff; Brother-in-law of Alice (Scott) Selby, Keith (Debbie) Hargett, and Brenda Hargett; He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his dog, Bear.
