Coach "Physical" Phil Gigliotti will be remembered by thousands as a devoted family man with a bright smile, a booming voice, a steadfast faith and a heart of gold. Born Philip C. Gigliotti on October 25, 1937 to Frank and Frances Gigliotti in Dayton OH.  Phil attended Emmanuel grade school in Dayton, graduated from Chaminade High School, the University of Dayton (BA) and Xavier University (M.Ed.) As his coaching career was blossoming, he met and married the love of his life Sandra (nee Becker) Gigliotti. Phil and Sandy raised their son Steve (Tracey) and daughter Stacy (Jason) in Blue Ash while Phil taught and coached at Moeller High School side by side with his good friend Gerry Faust.  Faust and Gigliotti were coaching innovators, drawing national attention to the football program at Moeller. Both on and off the field, Coach Gigliotti's impact on thousands of young men is immeasurable. Although he held other positions throughout his life, he was always a part of the Moeller family. He was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Harry and Billie Becker.  His memory as "Papa" will be cherished by his grandchildren Kelsey, Stephen and Tyler Gigliotti, and Josie and Laney Broenner.  He will be missed by many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.  Coach passed away on October 17, 2020 with his family surrounding him. Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, October 21 at Archbishop Moeller High School, 9001 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
