Pernia L. Anderson, 82, of Batavia, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2021. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Bobby Anderson; loving mother of Audrey (Kelly) Lee, Pamela (Chris) Witt, Patricia (Michael) Williams, and Ramona Anderson; proud grandmother of Joseph (Cassandra) Lee, Jason (Mariah) Lee, Samantha Witt, Noah (Hannah) Witt, Rachel Johnson, Andrea Williams, Zachary Williams, Robert (Jessalyn) Kloss, Megan (Bryan) Morris, Kayla (Adam) Angus, and Elizabeth Kloss; great-grandmother of Bria, Esme, Nevaeh, Hazel, Blayden, Maddi, and Dax; dear sister of Glenna Huddleston, Wesley Lay, Paul Lay, Herman Lay. Pernia was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Melda (nee Davis) Lay and seven siblings. Friends will be received from 5-8pm on October 8, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 10am on October 9, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hughes officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio.
