Pauline (Cobb) Rowland, 86, of Wayne Township, OH went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2026. She was born April 26, 1940 in Pearl, KY to Silas and Edna Hatfied Cobb.

She was married on May 12, 1962 to Claudie J. Rowland with whom she has two daughters. They were married for 57 years.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie, parents Silas and Edna, sisters Marie Sproule, Florence King, brothers James Cobb, Waylon Cobb, John Cobb, Matthew Cobb, Chester Cobb, son-in-law, David Wayne Brown, sisters-in-law Grace Burchett and Nora Alice Perkins.

She is survived by daughters Teresa Yvonne Brown and Bonita Jo (Matthew) Burroughs, granddaughter Jessica Yvonne (John) Bills, three great-grandsons Carl Wayne Alexander, Antonio David Perez, and Nathan Lee Bills, one brother-in-law Hershell (Brenda) Rowland and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pauline enjoyed being a cook at Goshen Local School District for 25 years. She devoted her later years to caring for her husband, Claudie. She loved her daughters, sons-in-law, granddaughter, grandson-in-law and great-grandsons very much. She loved to cook for her family, crochet and sew.

She had faith in the Lord and we have faith that we will see her again. John 3:16, Psalm 23.

A graveside service will be held at Plainview Cemetery on St Rt 131 on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM.
