She was married to Clifford A Fugett from 1948 to 1972 During those years she worked with Cliff at their business, Fugett Photography, as a photographic artist. She attended Winona School of Professional Photography and learned to oil paint photographs. She hand painted many portraits of high school seniors, families and weddings over the course of many years. Pauline was forced to quit school at age 14 and go to work during WW2. She always regretted that, and at age 35 attended Wilmington High School, along with the young students, earning her high school diploma in 1969 and then graduating from University of Cincinnati in 1971 with an Associates Degree and capped a Registered Nurse. Pauline loved her career in nursing and worked at Wilmington Hospital, Cincinnati Milacron and also as a rehabilitation nurse. She retired in 1993 and enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband Tom. She was a hard worker and loved to always be busy with projects. She never sat still. You would always find her working on her house, stripping furniture, reupholstering, cooking, working in her garden. She loved to sew and made many beautiful quilts that she gifted to all her children and grandchildren. She mostly loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and her parrot Michal. Our sweetest memories are of all the holidays and birthdays we all shared together with her cooking for the whole family.
