Obituary

Paul B. Naberhaus of Loveland, OH. Beloved husband of 51 years to Linda (nee Reed) Naberhaus. Loving father of Melissa Naberhaus. Proud grandfather of Jordyn Frank. Brother of the late Johanna (Sister Agnese) Naberhaus and Elfreda Naberhaus. Dear brother-in-law of Bill (Denise) Reed and the late Sandie Meents. Dear uncle of Karen Schmitt and Julie Cromwell. Paul passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 73. Paul was born to German immigrants Bernard "Ben" Naberhaus and Hilda Naberhaus (nee Geiss) who raised the family in Cheviot, Ohio. Paul was a graduate of LaSalle High School, class of 1965. He attended the Ohio State University for two years, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Paul met the love of his life working at the Shillito's Department Store in downtown Cincinnati. He and Linda married in 1969 at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, KY. Paul was a loving husband and father. He spent many years active with the Porsche Club of Cincinnati where he and Linda autocrossed, rallied and concoured their 914. He worked 32 years at Century Motors and was semi-retired working as a courtesy driver for Beechmont Audi. He made many friends along the way. Paul was also a model railroad enthusiast, where his attention to detail was showcased in his H0 layout. In addition to his love of trains and German engineering, he loved to ride his motorcycle. He and Linda lead an active lifestyle until ALS wreaked its havoc. Paul will be forever loved and cherished in the memories of those he met. We take comfort in knowing that he is now in his eternal home and will be reunited with us again. "Be joyful always...give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16) In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to City Gospel Mission (citygospelmission.org) or the ALS Association (donate.als.org) in his honor.
