Patricia Weller Barney, 84, formerly of Waynesville and Urbana, passed away Tuesday Aug. 1, 2006 at the home of her daughter. She was born Oct. 26, 1921 in Urbana, daughter of the late DeWitt and Evas Woodburn Weller. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John S. Barney and her sister Catherine Snyder. Patricia is survived by five sons and daughers-in-law: John and Becky of Waynesvile, Jim and Tara of Davenport, Iowa, Chris and Julie of Holland, Michigan, Tim and Molly of Vandalia, and Tad and Cathy of Milford. She is also survived by her daughter and best friend, Pat Barney Hicks and Pat's husband, Tom, of Blanchester. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren.
