Patricia R. Zink (Pat) was born August 18, 1927 to Clarance and Myrtle (nee Meier) George and passed away on July 31, 2014 at the age of 86. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Zink. Pat is survived by her brother, Ray (Babe) George (Judy); her children Larry Zink (Roxanne), Paula Neiheisel (Ken), Randy Zink (Erin), Bryan Zink, Tori Hudson (nee Zink), Lisa Fellers (Gary) and David Zink; grandchildren Penelope, Nathan, Aaron, Jon, Leah, Alex, Max, Kaleb, Eli, Gabby, Emily, Brittany, Carli, and her precious Laylah, for whom Pat gave us several more years because of her intense love and connection with her; and great grandchildren Niko and Bodie, and a great granddaughter due in December. Pat was an amazing and devoted mother. Family meant everything to her and nothing made her happier than to see all of her children having fun spending time together. Pat's generosity and selfless nature made her a person who was loved by everyone she touched. No one was a stranger to Pat. She could make anyone open up to her about the most intimate parts of their lives. She had a gift with people and conversation. She once told us the story of when she had a grown man who was her cab driver crying as he was taking her to the airport. Pat always had a smile on her face and wasn't shy about laughing at herself, which her grandchildren especially enjoyed. Pat was amazingly loving, fiercely loyal, had a very witty personality, always fashion conscious, incredibly generous, loved to cook and entertain, and loved to read. Pat had an amazing gift of hospitality. She opened up her home in Naples, FL to people she barely knew and was therefore responsible for several of them retiring in Naples. Pat liked to keep busy so she volunteered at the Encore Resale Shop and The Neighborhood Health Clinic in Naples, Florida.
