Patricia Ruth "Peggy" Adams (nee Barrere), passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at SEM Haven. The oldest living resident of SEM at the time of her passing at age 99, Peggy's presence on this earth is sorely missed by her loving daughter, Bonnie A. Grubbs (Michael), 8 grandchildren who called her Grandma, 16 great and 6 great-great grandchildren who called her GG. Each of her children, their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and great grandchildren were included as apples on the family apple tree craft she proudly displayed in her home. She was preceded in death by her "sweetie," beloved husband of 62 years, Reed E. Adams, mother Mary Kathryn Durr Barrere, stepfather Thomas Barrere, siblings, Tommy Joe and Bill Barrere, son Michael J. Adams (Mary Briggs Adams and Linda Adams).

A lifelong resident of Milford, Ohio, Peggy helped run the family business, Adams Water Hauling for 20 years. She enjoyed singing with the Summer Minstrels. Peggy was a dedicated member of Eastern Star of Goshen since 1977. For her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking and crafts. She began a hobby after taking an art class at age 60 of painting. Her family is blessed to have many of her beautiful paintings on canvas displayed in their homes. Peggy lived a full life and could truthfully be described as 99 years young. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff at SEM Haven who cared for her with loving kindness through the last weeks of her life.

Services to celebrate her homegoing will be on Saturday, January 18 from 1 PM to 3 PM with an Eastern Star Service beginning at 2 PM, held at the Grubbs home, 826 St. Rt. 131, Unit 48, Milford, OH 45150.
