Beloved wife of Melvin "Mel" Lakness. Loving mother of Jean Crocker-Lakness and Katherine Kinane. Devoted Grandmother of four grandsons. Patricia (Pat) Alvina Pattison Lakness died Saturday, August 19 at Mt. Pleasant Nursing Center in Monroe, Ohio after a full life. A favorite quote of hers was "She who says it can't be done is interrupted by she who is doing it." According to the Hillcre In lieu of flowers family request that memorial contributions be directed to the Patricia Pattison Lakness Scholarship, Westminister College, 1840 South 1300 East,Salt Lake City , Utah 84105.
