Patricia E. Midgley passed from this life on March 8, 2023 after a brief illness. She was 96 years of age.

Pat was born in Cleveland, Ohio and spent her childhood there. She attended Rocky River High School where she was active in dance (ballet), orchestra (violin) and Girl Scouts. After graduation, she attended a school for Practical nursing. In 1949 she married James Midgley (D) and they had five children: Patricia (Edward), James (Jody), Timothy, Mark (Rhonda) and Pamela. She leaves 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Social activities included swimming aerobics at Wilmington College. She had a group of friends that came from this association, and they could always be counted upon to help her celebrate birthdays or to have lunch get- togethers. Pat was a member of the Episcopal Church and Daughters of the King in association with St. Francis Episcopal Church in Springboro. Most recently, she attended services at Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington. She was also an 84-year member of The Rainbow Girls and then later The Order of Eastern Star. Her last affiliation was New Vienna, Ohio Chapter-327.

She is preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Ruth, sister Ruth, son Mark, daughter in law Rhonda and many other relatives and dear friends.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church 421 East Vine Street, Wilmington, Ohio on June 8, 2023, at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family prior to service. Interment of ashes will be at South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton, Ohio on June 9th.
