GOLDEN Patricia Mae (nee Alexander) of Goshen, Ohio, formerly of Monticello, KY. Born on May 29, 1937 in Stubenville, Kentucky to Joe and Elinora Alexander. Patricia was raised in Monticello, Kentucky. She graduated from Wayne County High School in 1954. Patricia obtained her Associates Degree from Cumberland College, her B.A. from Miami (OH) University and her Masters of Education from Xavier University. Mrs. Golden taught 3rd and 1st grades at Marr Primary for 25 years, from 1957 till her retirement in 1982. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Lawrence E. Golden, Jr. of Goshen, Ohio, her two children, Edward "Eddie" (Kayla) Golden of Goshen, Ohio and Denise (Roy) Carl of Alexandria, Kentucky, her four grandchildren, Vanessa Golden, Derek Clinton, Kara Clinton and Kourtney Clinton and three great-grandchildren; Denver Clinton, Austin Dodge and Aiden Dodge, her brother Ben Alexander and two sisters, Peggy Gregory and Jerry Abbott. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elinora (nee Smith) Alexander. Mrs. Golden's hobbies included the Kentucky Wildcats, travel, family and friends, music and gardening. Pat appreciated classic poetry and literature and passed that love onto others. She loved her family, friends and especially children. She had friends all over the world and loved her Goshen community. Pastor Gary Stringer will be the presiding minister for the services of Patricia Golden.
