Patricia Ann (nee DeLong) Essex of Columbus, OH, formerly of Milford, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Born on July 18, 1929 in Laurelville, OH.

Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Essex. Loving mother of Mark (Teresa) Essex, Becky (David) Jones and Judy (Bruce) Lavash. Caring grandmother of Kirsten Essex, Kevin (Ellen) Essex, Daniel (Debbie) Essex, Adam (Nicole) Essex, Fawn (Glen Murrell) Hornsby, Ryan Hornsby, Ben (Meredith) Jones, Kaitie (Chris) Cline, Brian (Indira) Lavash, Sarah (Rob) Hebbeler and Christina Lavash. Proud great-grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late John (Barbara) DeLong. Cherished daughter of the late Edgar Rothe and Gladys Edna (nee Bowers) DeLong. Also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends.

Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 8 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.

Interment will be at Plainview Cemetery.
