Our mother, Opal Alene Steward, went to heaven on December 26, 2022.

She was born September 21, 1936, and was married to Allen Leroy Steward on March 18, 1952.

Opal leaves behind her children, Connie (Barry) Aills, Helen (Eugene) Strong, Jim (Terri) Steward, and Ken (Paula) Steward. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Opal was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry; Parents, Kurt and Myrtle (nee Collins) Dunihue; great-granddaughter, Allie Strong.

She loved coloring, crafting, and making wreaths. Her favorite flower was pink roses, but she loved to see all flowers bloom. Opal attended Blanchester Fellowship Tabernacle Church. She will be missed by many.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester, where friends will be received from 10am until the time of service. Pastor Josh Haines officiating.

Interment will take place at Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
