Nyle L Hothem of Holly Springs, North Carolina. Beloved husband of Terri (nee Gavin) Hothem. Loving father of Kevin Hothem and Lauren Hothem (Forrest Raynor). Cherished son of the late Geraldine and Eugene Hothem. Devoted brother of Leann (Eddie) Hodges, Larry Hothem, Terron Hothem, and the late Darrell Hothem and the late Marla Kay Hothem. Dear son-in-law of the late Tom and Miriam Gavin. Caring brother-in-law of the late Eddie Hodges, Sherry (Jeff) Romani, Greg (Vicky) Gavin, Julie (Mike) Tiemeier, Lisa and the late Ken Miller, Laurie (Vince) Sunderhaus, Judy (Joe) Moehring, Kristi (Jeff) Eberhart, Tony Michalak, and the late Colleen Michalak. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Nyle was a loving and generous family man and friend, always supporting and helping those around him. His sense of humor, adventure, and community brought family and friends together, whether at home, on trips exploring back roads, or in the outdoors. His competitive nature drove his love for golf, tennis, and pickleball; always encouraging others to be their best. He was a relentless problem solver whose analytical mind and organizational skills made him an excellent engineer both professionally and at home. He believed he could always find the perfect solution, even when faced with life's toughest challenges.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM with service beginning at 11AM on Saturday, August 3 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Drive, Loveland, OH 45140. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
