Kelly (née Woolen) Strang of Loveland, Ohio, passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 65, after a courageous fight. Born on December 14, 1960, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina,
Kelly was the beloved wife of 40 years to Steven Andrew Strang. She was a loving mother to Patrick (Shelby) Strang, Nicholas (Ashlee) Strang, and Mary Kate (David) Pease, and a proud grandmother to Madilyn Strang and Cordelia Strang.
Kelly was the cherished daughter of the late Paul and Irene (née Gallagher) Woolen and the dear sister of the late Michael, Gregory, and Timothy Woolen.
She was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was an All-American athlete on the varsity volleyball team, and remained a devoted Buckeye fan throughout her life. She also coached volleyball at St Columban. Kelly enjoyed cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and listening to the island music of Jimmy Buffett. Above all, Kelly will be remembered for her deep love of family and the joy she found in spending time with those closest to her.
