Obituary

Norma S. Borjas, 71, formerly of Cridersville, OH, died peacefully in her residence in Maineville, OH on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born June 10, 1943, in Kenton, OH, to Morris and Freda (nee Gibson) Switzer. Both preceded her in death. On April 24, 1962, she was united in marriage to Frank Borjas, who survives in Maineville. Survivors include four sons, Anthony Borjas of Fairfield, OH; Randall (Dawn) Borjas of Maineville, OH; John (Brenda) Borjas of Loveland, OH and Richard Borjas of Maineville, OH; two brothers, Gene (Roma) Switzer of Findlay, OH and Gary (Marcia) Switzer of Springfield, OH; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Angela. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Switzer; a sister, Bette Jo Roberston; and a nephew, Jeff Robertson. She was a 1961 graduate of Arcadia High School in Arcadia, OH and a U.S. Veteran having served in the U.S. Army - Women's Army Corps (WAC). She was a homemaker who was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Maineville Cemetery, 476 E. Foster-Maineville Road, Maineville, OH 45039, with Pastor Lester Jones officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the residence of John and Brenda Borjas, 9970 Butterworth Rd, Loveland, OH 45140.
