Norma June (nee Stiles) Henize of Goshen, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2020 at the age of 75. Norma was born on January 2, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH to Albert Jr. and Wilma Stiles. She graduated in 1963 from Western Brown High School. Norma was introduced to her husband, Frank of 57 years by his sister Karen, when Norma was a junior in high school. On June 2, 1963 she and Frank married after Norma graduated from high school and they began their lives moving into their first house. Frank and Norma started their family in 1967 with the birth of the first of four children. She loved family gatherings and always expected her children to "check it at the door" if you had an issue with each other. Her family would say her cooking skills were second to none. Norma loved gardening, fishing, traveling with her husband, Nascar and their horses. Norma is survived by her beloved husband, Franklin Delano Henize Sr.; three loving daughters, Julia Henize-Pearson, Maria (Mike) Henize-Sparks and Ammi (Eddie) Kidd; 8 caring grandchildren, Lindsey (Jason) Barrial, Tristen, Tyler and Trevor Henize, Dalton Pearson, Austyn Henize, Faith Kidd and Shelby Henize; three proud great-grandchildren, Camden, Ryder and Norah Barrial; seven sisters, Wanda "Kitty" Plank, Gail Boling, Charlotte Walker, Carolyn Smith, Sharon Tarpley, Melody Davidson and Elsie Stiles; two brothers, Chuck McMullen and David Shaw. Norma was preceded in death by a son, Franklin Delano Henize Jr.; two brothers, Robert McMullen and Glen Stiles; and her parents, Albert Jr. and Wilma (nee Strawn) Stiles. A Celebration of Life Service for Norma and her husband Franklin will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 12 Noon to 6 PM at Maria's home, 5498 Mt. Zion Rd., Milford, OH 45150.
