Nelson Miles McLeese Jr. of South Lebanon, Ohio. Loving husband of late Mary Margaret McLeese. Cherished father of James (Dee Dee) McLeese and Deborah (Duane) Riley. Devoted grandfather of Michael Osborne, Jamie Mosley, Erik McLeese, Paige Long, Thalia Lewis and the late Bobby Osborne III and Joshua Lewis. Proud great grandfather of Bobby Osborne IIII, Nelson Osborne, Cydney Lewis, Joshua Osborne, Montgomery Long, Axel Scalf, Acelynn Scalf, Brynn McLeese, Rowan McLeese, and Ayden Mosley. Nelson is also preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Judy McLeese. Beloved stepfather of Jay (Julie) Cooperrider, Jeff Cooperrider, and Julie (Brian) Murphy. Caring step grandfather of Jordan Cooperrider, Mackenzie (James) Cooperrider, Luke (Tamara) Cooperrider, Justin Cooperrider, Lauren Murphy, and Jenna Murphy.

Nelson passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 88. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Nelson loved to dance and won multiple jitterbug dance competitions. He played Semi Pro Baseball. He was active in coaching his children's sports and was the president of Riverbend Athletic Association in Columbus, Ohio. He was a very talented singer and artist.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed towards Nelson’s granddaughter, Thalia Lewis, who is currently fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
