Nathaniel “Nate” Robert Patterson of Goshen, OH, suddenly passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 34. 

Nate was born on November 14, 1991, in Cincinnati, OH. He was the beloved husband of 15 years to Brandy Shannon (nee Apgar) Patterson. Nate was a caring dog dad to Chance and Azara and the late Bowser and Starlo. He was the cherished son of Tonya Marie (nee Kassner) Patterson and the late Robert Stanley Patterson Jr. He is the son-in-law of Missy Apgar, and grandson of Angeline Patterson and the late Robert “Pat” Patterson Sr., Joyce Kassner and George Kassner. Dear grandson-in-law of Patricia Apgar. He was an annoying little brother of Tara (Josh) Hollandsworth and Shannon (Brandy) Bills. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. 

Nate was a sports enthusiast, especially disc golf. He loved spending time with his wife and dogs. Nate was a passionate cook and loved to feed others as well as himself. At the end of the day, Nate would enjoy a cigar in the outdoors. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at a later date to be determined.
