Nancy Jo Dugan, age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, while being cared for by the wonderful nursing staff and caregivers at the Alois Alzheimer Center. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, sharing joy and compassion to all those she encountered.

Born in Lima, Ohio and married for 48 years to the love of her life, Daniel Dugan, Nancy built a beautiful life and raised four wonderful children, creating a home filled with unconditional love, immense laughter, and unwavering support.

Nancy was also a woman of deep devotion — not only to her family and friends, but most importantly to her faith. Recently a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, she regularly attended Mass and was guided by her belief in God and the power of prayer and service.

Nancy brought happiness and beauty into every aspect of her life. As a 1971 graduate of Lima Senior High School, she was a proud member of the school's choir and enjoyed sharing her gifted voice and love of music with others. Nancy's family appreciated her skills in the kitchen, which were matched only by her talent for interior decorating — providing a warm and welcoming home that was meticulously designed. An avid golfer and enthusiastic traveler, she explored the world with her husband at her side every step of the way, creating lasting memories around the globe.

Professionally, Nancy dedicated over three decades to her work as an orthodontic assistant at Orthodontic Associates in Lima, Ohio, where she left a lasting impression on patients and coworkers alike. After retiring, she embraced the joy of pursuing hobbies and spending more time with those she loved most.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Dan, her loving siblings Betty Smith (Curt), Janet Willoughby (Tom), her children Patrick Dugan, Matthew Dugan (Cindy), Kelly Donovan (Patrick), and by her ten adoring grandchildren, who brought so much love and light to her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorothy Bozick, parents-in-law, John and Irene Dugan, and her cherished son, Christopher Dugan, with whom she is now reunited in eternal peace.

Nancy's life was a testament to kindness, strength, and dedication to family. Her legacy is not only remembered, but also lives on in those who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 944 US-22, Morrow, OH 45152. Immediately following, a luncheon will be held for friends and family to visit and honor Nancy's life.
