Carolyn Modene (Chumbley) Brockman, affectionately known as "Mo", peacefully moved on to be with the Lord on March 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Mom, you were always there for whatever we needed… help with a last-minute school project, a cheering section in the stands, a hot meal, a safe place to share our troubles, a nudge in the right direction, an example to follow or a hand to hold. From watching you, we learned how to love, how to live with honesty and integrity, how to commit to doing what is right and how to walk in faith. Your passion for bringing people and, especially, family together has left us with priceless memories that only become more precious with time. Who would we be if not for you?

Born and raised in Russell County, Kentucky, Mo married Dorman, her husband of 53 years, and moved to Cincinnati in 1970. After her two sons were born, the family moved to Milford in 1976 where she has lived ever since. She worked as a Kitchen Manager for Milford Schools for 31 years and was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Church for over 45 years.

Mo was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ermine Chumbley, along with 7 sisters and 3 brothers. She was the loving mother of Greg (Julie) and Tim Brockman. "Nana" of Austin (Emma), Emma (Marshall), Hannah, Hayden (Alexis), Sam, Maddie, Katie and two great grandchildren, Harrison and Calvin.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, April 3 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 1 PM on Thursday. The interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
