Mitchel Alan Chandler of New Richmond, OH. Passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 72. Mitchel was born on July 16, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH to Marshall and Charlotte Chandler. He graduated from Sycamore High School. Mitchel worked for many years at Roadway Express, where he retired from. Mitchel loved horses. He was a trainer at River Downs and Turfway Park, enjoying all of the people he worked with. Mitchel is survived by his loving companion, Donna Doyle; three sons, Andy (Becky) Chandler, Jimmy (Carrie Ridgewell) Chandler and Little Mitch Chandler; daughter, Bess Murphy; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Mitchel is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall J. and Charlotte Jane (nee Harrison) Chandler; sister, Marsha Chandler; and brother, Mike Chandler. Friends will be received from 5 PM - 7 PM on Monday, September 20 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where a memorial service will be held at 7 PM Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for Mitchel's services.
