Michael Vernon Ward, age 70. Beloved husband of the late Valerie Kaye Ward, cherished father of Shannon Brooke Ward and Valerie Paige Ward, loving grandfather of Jessica Taylor Mathis and Travis Lyndon Mathis. Devoted son of the late Vernum Ward and Lillie Belle Ward, brother of Deanna Caylor. Private memorial overseen by Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to any of the following:
