Michael "Mic" Paul Schalk of Blanchester, OH. Passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 61. Born on February 1, 1960 in Pleasant Plain, OH. Beloved husband of Debra "Debbie" Sue (nee Davis) Schalk. Loving father of Michael (Emily) Schalk Jr., Zack Schalk, Codey Schalk, Emily Schalk, Ravin (Ray) Rodriguez and Danielle (Charles) Morris. Proud grandfather of Cameron Berrien, Madison Berrien, Trinity Morris, Kinsley Morris and Henry Schalk. Dear brother of Vicki Watkins, Lori Baker and Teresa Dunihue. Cherished son of the late Richard and Barbara (nee Day) Schalk. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mic proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 22 at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Mic Schalk to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Rev. Robert Highley will be the minister for Mic's services.
