Michael E. Highlander, 59 of Midland passed away Saturday November 22, 2014 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born August 11, 1955 to Anna (nee Dinkins) Highlander and the late Ralph Highlander. Michael enjoyed movies, woodworking, dance, fishing, motorcycles, cooking and his family. He is survived by his children, Michael Eugene Highlander Jr., Brian Michael Highlander and Anna Rose Highlander; grandchild, Arabella "Bella" Rose Highlander; Brothers and sisters, Patty Buchanan, Rhonda Haygood and Gary Highlander. Memorial services with Military Honors and Jim Krusling officiating will be held on Friday December 5, 2014 at 3 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 1 PM until time of service.
