Michael J. Bateman, of Milford. Proud father of Nicholas (Alesia) Bateman and Lauren Bateman. Grandfather of Victor. Beloved son of Joyce (Clarence) Cole and the late Robert J. Bateman. Dear brother of Valerie Zion, Jeffrey W. (Rebecca) Bateman, P. Robert (Danielle) Bateman, and Sandra L. (Bobby) Sales. Loving uncle of Emily Bateman, Grace Carnes, Faith Bateman, Gabby Bateman, Alex Bateman, and Sari Bateman. Former husband of Denise Bateman. Also survived by his best friend of 50 years, Jeff Lykins. Passed away January 10, 2024, at the age of 64.
Proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, where he served for 16 years in Missouri, Texas, California and Spain. Mike took great pride in the time he taught at Camp Bullis and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. For a time, he taught advanced warfare strategies to officers. He was very interested in space and technology. He loved working at the casino as a dealer and enjoyed playing sand volleyball in his spare time.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 15 from 10-11 AM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens.
