Merilyn L. (Hamilton) Collier, of Cincinnati. Beloved wife of 42 years to Curtis Hernex. Loving mother of Natalie Hamilton and David (Millisa) Collier. Cherished grandmother of Spencer Hamilton, Donte' Collier, Travis Billingsley, Julia Huerta, Thamar Collier and Loren Billingsley. Proud great grandmother of Najalie Collier, Mya Collier, Emmalyn Billingsley, Ania Collier-Evans and Gohan Charroud. Dear sister of Carol Rowe, Gwen Hamilton and Kevin Hamilton. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gladys (Alsop) Hamilton, Sr.; grandchildren, Colin Powell and Adriel Powell; brothers, David Hamilton, Gregory Hamilton and Earl Hamilton, Jr; and sister, Earlene Ennix. Passed away October 13, 2025, at the age of 86.

Merilyn was an avid reader, and her nickname was known to be "The Encyclopedia."

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 25 from 10-11 AM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM.
