JOHNSEN Mercedes "Marcy" (nee Kolesar) of Miami TWP, OH. Beloved wife of Lee Johnsen. Loving mother of Charles (Stacey) Skoning, Wendy (Josh) Bales and Sherry (Eric) Dearing. Caring grandmother of Odessa Mittendorf, Benjamin Skoning, Noah Bales, Remington Dearing and Scarlet Bales. Cherished daughter of Nancy (nee Christian) Kolesar and the late Joseph Kolesar. Dear sister of Sherry Wilder, Curt Kolesar, Wayne Kolesar and the late Veronica Casey and Zora Mietus. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mercedes found joy in searching for treasures. Sometimes it was a great Longaberger basket or a hidden antique. Often times, it was a visiting cardinal in the backyard, or a fragrant blooming rose. Her treasures grew when she held each of her grandchildren, as they held her heart. She loved them as only their Maw-Maw (MoMo) could. They each are blessed to have been loved by her. She had a special talent for turning a conversation into an opportunity to tell everyone about the amazing gift of salvation. She treasured every opportunity that she could share the good news of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She has gone home to her true treasure in Heaven. Her light will continue to glow in the legacy of those who will continue to love her. Pastor Dwight Hesson and Pastor Bob Shumard will be officiating the service for Marcy.
