Melanie A. Shepherd of Loveland. Cherished daughter of Chere (Bill) Wasco and Frank (Beth) Shepherd. Loving sister of Kim (Matt Wrey) Lust, Christine (Dan) Muenzer, Katherine (Joe) Marchese, Mark Shepherd, Chris Wasco and Jennifer Wasco. Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. Passed away December 21, 2024, at the age of 63.

Melanie loved life! She loved being involved in any activity, especially music, dancing, bowling and the Special Olympics when she was younger. She remembered everyone's birthday and all national holidays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 11 AM - 12 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Down Syndrome Association , in Melanie's memory.
