Mazella (nee Elkins) Ward, 90, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at West Chester Hospital. Mazella was born January 7, 1923 in Frenchburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Eli and Ruth Lawson Elkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lorinza Ward; son, David Ward; and brothers, Clayton, Thomas, Elwood, and Jessie Elkins. She is survived by her children, Alice (Ken) Arant, Phillip (Robin) Ward, Anthony (Jo Ann) Ward, John Ward, Timothy (Barb) Ward, Marylyn Powell, Kathryn (Randy) Taylor, John Ward Jr. and Tena Agnew; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and brother, Raymond Elkins. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM on Thursday, February 28 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140, where services will be held at 11 AM with Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH.
