Maxine R. (nee x) McClees of Blanchester, OH, formerly of Akron, OH, passed on June 2, 2024, at the age of 100. Maxine was born on March 21, 1924, in McCayville, GA to the late John Taylor and Nora Lee (nee Huffman) Hicks.

Beloved wife of the late George Murphy McClees, Sr. Caring mother of Phyllis (Havis) Gabbard, Donna (Les) Gabbard, the late George Murphy McClees, Jr. and the late Nancy Myers. Proud grandmother of Don Kohler, Sandy Myers, George M. McClees III, and Daniel Scott. Cherished great grandmother of Madison Kohler, Andrew Kohler, Johnny Myers, James Wymer, Jansen Wymer, Chloe McClees, Brycen Scott, Brayden Scott, and Lexi Huston.
