Maureen C. Dillon who worked tirelessly in service to the Cincinnati arts and charitable communities, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Born on April 2, 1949, in Fort Wayne Indiana, Maureen graduated from Indiana University. Her volunteer efforts on the boards of the Urban Appalachian Council, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, 4C for Children, Cincinnati Opera and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company as well as her service on numerous other civic organizations and committees gave her enormous joy throughout her life. She additionally made great professional contributions in Cincinnati's marketing research community and served as the president Delta Psi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma International Society of Educators while teaching at Cincinnati State. Maureen is survived by her loving brother William (Joan) Dillon, and their three children Megan, Andrew and Brendan as well as her sister-in-law Barbara (Tim) Dillon. She also leaves behind a vast extended family of friends and colleagues. A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 2 PM from St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2853 Erie Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208.
