Matthew John Shannon, of Union Township, Ohio passed away January 9, 2016 at home. Devoted Son of Bob and Lisa Shannon, Dear Brother and brother in law of Mike and Erin Fittes Shannon , Betty Jo and Todd Abel, Robert and Doris Eytchison, Michelle and Joe Fryer and the late Kevin Shannon. Caring uncle of Samantha Shannon, Aspen Abel, and McKinley Abel. Matthew was born February 19, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He Graduated from Madeira High School in 1991. He served his country in the US Navy (1994 1997) as an Aviation Construction Specialist During Desert Storm, where he was Honorably Discharged upon completion of duty. Matthew spent a period of his life, Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. He loved the outdoors and adventure that the mountains brought him. He enjoyed Snowboarding, Cars, Motorcycles, and Music. Matthew had a kindhearted spirit that many fiends will always remember him by. Matthew went to be with his brother Kevin Saturday January 9, 2016, where they will rest in Eternal Peace Together.
