Mathew Harrison Childs Jr. of Goshen, OH. Born on August 17, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Carol Jean (nee Sellers) Childs. Loving father of Raymond Childs, Sheila (David) Faw and the late Deborah Weber. Caring grandfather of David Faw Jr., Matthew Faw, Brian Faw, Andrew Faw, Nichoel Huck, Stephanie Gambrel, Raven Weber, Kane Weber and Josie Childs. Proud great-grandfather of Violet Huck, Madeline Faw, Maverick Faw, Tristion Faw, Gaven Faw, Ty Faw, Tally Faw, Addison Faw, Owen Gambrel and Shelby Gambrel. Dear brother of Richard Childs, Tom Childs and the late Spencer Childs and Harry David Childs. Cherished son of the late Mathew Harrison Childs Sr. and Mildred (nee Hopkins) Childs. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Mathew proudly served in the Merchant Marines. He was a Lieutenant with the Cincinnati Fire Department for 36 years.
