Obituary

Hueber, Mary Elizabeth, "Beth" daughter of Norbert and Elizabeth Hasdorff Brockman. Beloved wife of the late John Kendall Hueber, deceased 2005, mother of 10 children – Maribeth, John (Sue), Daniel (Janine), Nancy Litzler, Margaret (Roger), Witt, Jody (deceased), Matthew, Richard, Patricia (Jim) Montag, and Luke (Diane). Grandmother of 28 and Great-Grandmother of 39. Beth was a dear sister to Nancy Brockman, Sr. Patricia Brockman, Father Norbert Brockman (deceased) and Stephan (Diane) Brockman. Friend and companion for 16 years to Harry Baily. Born in Cincinnati and raised in Hyde Park, Beth and her sisters attended Ursuline Boarding School in Brown County before graduating from Ursuline Academy. In the late 1940s she spent time in Texas with the Hasdorff family and was given the nickname 'The yellow rose of Texas' along with a long love for the state. Besides raising her 10 kids, Beth went to a 2-year program at University of Cincinnati business school to study Business Administration. She attended Union College & University and received a degree in Historic Studies. She then went on to Atlantic University and received a master's degree in Transpersonal psychology Studies. Other interests included dream interpretation (Jung Institute) and studies in healing with prayer and Indian Shamanism. Beth acquired her Real Estate license and was an agent for many years. Her love of envisioning a property or a house became one of her main passions. Over the years she bought and rehabbed over 50 homes beside inspiring most of her children to be involved in the real estate and building business. Ken and Beth owned several farms throughout their lifetimes that have served as a place for family gatherings, camping, gardening, and adventures. She was a lifelong learner and searcher which made her an invaluable teacher, healer and friend to so many. Beth was active well in her 90's when she finally slowed down and while she lost most of her sight and hearing, her mind was still sharp and she was interested and engaged with the many visitors to her home. She died peacefully Wednesday, January 18th with her loved ones around her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday January 28th, 11:00 AM at Oasis Conference Center – 902 Loveland-Miamiville Rd. Loveland, Ohio 45140. Lunch to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to Boys and Girls Club of Cincinnati.
