Obituary

Mary Helen Wetherhold, age 60, of Loveland, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home on Friday (January 6, 2017) after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Donald M. Wetherhold. Mary was born in Windsor, Ontario and was raised two hours east in London. Mary proudly became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 2007. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Bradburn) Edwards and the step daughter of Violet (Dawson) Edwards. Besides her husband Donald, Mary leaves her beloved sons Sean and Cory Wetherhold, sister Judy (Edwards) Sheridan and brothers Bill, Rob and Danny Edwards. Preceding Mary in death was her brother Norman Edwards. Mary also leaves behind her nieces Kelly Sheridan, Tracey (Sheridan) Alexander, Ashure Edwards, and Deanna (Edwards) Smith as well as her nephews Christopher and James Edwards. Her great nieces and nephews include Riley Sheridan, Nixon Alexander, and Charlotte Alexander. Mary also leaves behind her aunts Eleanor Edwards, Marg Laflamme and Ada Mallette, as well as her uncles Bob and Bill Bradburn, and her cousins Terry Edwards and Richard, Peter and Michael Laflamme. Mary was a very genuine and sweet person who loved spending time with her family and many friends. She lived to make people smile and never turned down an opportunity to host a gathering or lend a helping hand. Anyone who ever met Mary will remember her for her warm smile, positive energy, sense of humor and strong passion for life. Mary was a very creative and industrious person. She enjoyed all manner of art, craft, and design. She also loved to organize, assemble and construct. Whenever she chose to work outside the home it either involved these interests or instructing and mentoring children. As a homemaker Mary had no peer. Mary was never afraid to take on a challenge as evidenced by her 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Barbers License, and many home projects which often involved the use of power tools and the occasional weld.
