Mary Glendolen Greenwell "Glenna" 95, of Blanchester, Ohio, died June 16, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born on July 21, 1924 in Bardstown, KY to William and Mary Iva (nee Cecil) Burba. Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Greenwell; daughter, Marlene Barnett and son-in-law Maurice Barnett. She is survived by daughters Patricia and husband, Mark Strong; Brenda Taylor and husband Roger Gross; Melvina and husband, Bob Moses. Additionally, she leaves 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchild and sister, Elvia Parrott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Garland Burba, Cletus Burba; sisters, Leona Strong, Florene Gaffney and Delores Head. In earlier years, Glenna was employed at Clinton Memorial Hospital and Blanchester Middle School. She was an active member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, Red Hat Society and Blanchester Senior Citizens. She served on the Board of the Rebekah's and devoted much of her time and efforts to the needs of friends and the community of Blanchester. Glenna's faith in God and trust in Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord allowed her to live a life that reflected His love to her family and to all of those who were blessed to know her. At the request of the family, no service will be held at this time.
