Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Rea. Beloved daughter of the late Loyd Rea and Mary Call Rea. Sister of the late Father John Rea and the late Gertrude Schmees. Survived by a niece, Barbara Schmees and nephew, Thomas Schmees. Known as Miss Mary, Betty taught fifth grade at Nativity School from 1953 until 1961. From 1961 until 1989, Betty taught fifth grade at Loveland Miami Elementary. Betty was an active member of the Community of the Good Shepherd in Montgomery, where she was a member of the choir, Shepherd's Care Outreach, the Seniors and the founding member of the Whitley City, KY outreach mission. Visitation will held at the Community of the Good Shepherd, 8815 E. Kemper Road on Friday, November 10 from 9 AM until 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Community of the Good Shepherd.
