Mary Lou Buchanan, 82, of Clarksville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved mother of Lisa (Jim) Segrist and Sandra (Allen) Hogan; cherished grandmother of Angel Rhinehimer (Taylor), Noah Gonzalez, Carson Gonzalez, Tori Gonzalez, Natosha Moore (James), Ashly Hogan, Brandon Hogan, and Chris Asher; loving great-grandmother of Nirvana Clanton, Tucker Wright, Cameron Moore, Anna Moore, and Avery Hogan; proud great-great-grandmother of Richard Miller; brothers, Curtis Hogan and Cephus Hogan; sisters, Ann Winkleman, Joan Bryant, Brenda Begley, Mattie Taylor, and Judy Hogan.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Buchanan; daughter, Connie Creech; son, Roger Creech; parents, Clarence and Emmaline (Barrett) Hogan; brothers, Vernon Hogan, Roy Hogan, Ronnie Hogan, Ernest Hogan, and Jeff Hogan; sisters, Linda Johnson, Rosalie Hogan, and Gail Evenoff.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will take place at South Lebanon Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family c/o Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
