Mark C. Flora, Sr., 74, of Lynchburg, Ohio, passed away at Bethesda North on June 20, 2021, after a lengthy hospital stay from complications of Covid. Born November 3, 1946, in Lebanon, Ohio.
He was the owner of Midland Auto Sales, Blanchester, Ohio. Mark was a member of the Martinsville Masonic Lodge No. 391. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, Cincinnati Reds baseball and spending time with family.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Bean) Flora whom he was married to for 43 years; loving father of Mark Flora, Jr. of Fayetteville, OH, Debbie (Mike) Howard of New Vienna, OH, Rhonda (Les) Cochran of Lynchburg, OH, Brian (Keri) Young of Stafford, VA, Scott Young of Hillsboro, OH; proud grandfather of Sydney Flora, Brady Flora, Michael (Jenny)Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Bradley (Dani) Cochran, Alexa Cochran, Kali Cochran, Taushia (Adam) Means, Brian (Jade) Young, Jr., Colton Young, Cameron Young, Kaden Young, Kwynlan Young, Mitchell Nelson, McKenna Nelson, Kylieh Young, Branson Young, and Brailey Young; great-grandfather of 11; dear brother of Becky Gall, Kathy (Doug) Cornell, Karen (Joe)Adams, Karol (Mike) Robinson; sister-in-law, Lillian Flora; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Margaret (nee Cornor) Flora and a brother, Aaron Clay Flora, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 25, 2021, with Pastor Mike Polston officiating at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service.
Interment with Military Honors will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
