She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylbia Byrd and her father Ernest Byrd, both of Norma, TN.. She is survived by her husband, Everett H. Bond of Pleasant Plain, OH.; daughter, Barbara D. Benedict of Milford, OH.; son, Steven H. Bond of Richmond, VA., ; brothers James Ernest Byrd and Ledford Byrd of Norma, TN., brother, Marvin Byrd of Chatsworth, GA., sisters, Bernice Hudson and Patricia Barrett of Norma, TN., sister, Venna West of Knoxville, TN., and sister Carolyn Chambers of Oneida, TN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many friends and relatives. She was a charter member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she always looked forward to the fellowship of others. She particularly enjoyed singing in the church choir.
