Obituary

Marion Lucke of Loveland, OH, age 95, passed away June 9, 2026, peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, hard work, devotion, and kindness that will be remembered for generations.

For 75 wonderful years, Marion shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Roseann Lucke. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering commitment to one another. Their marriage was a shining example of love, partnership, and dedication. He was the cherished father of Jackie Lucke (William) Johnston, Bob (Robin) Lucke, Paul (Donna) Lucke, Judy Lucke (Fred) Brown. Devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Marion found great joy in spending time with those he loved. His wisdom, steady presence, and caring heart left a lasting impact on every life he touched.

Marion was an entrepreneur whose strong work ethic and vision led him to establish the family business, Lucke Homes. Through his leadership, integrity, and craftsmanship, he built not only homes but lasting relationships within the community. His commitment to excellence created a foundation that continues to benefit his family and others.

Faith was at the center of Marion’s life. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, he lived his beliefs through service, generosity, and love for others. One of his proudest accomplishments was helping build a church on his father’s farm, creating a place where countless people could gather in worship and fellowship. His faith guided every aspect of his life and served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

When he was not working or serving his church, Marion enjoyed one of his lifelong passions—golf. Whether playing with friends, family, or simply enjoying a day on the course, golf brought him happiness throughout his life.

Marion’s legacy of faith, family, hard work, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
