Marion L. Sparks was born December 25, 1930 to Wayne and Lucile (nee Deal) Rider and passed away Thursday October 1, 2015 at the age of 84. She loved to crochet and work crossword puzzles and word searches. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Clark and Maxine Willhite; grandchildren, Robin Reedy, Jason (Ginny) Forbes, April Hopper, Christi Sparks; granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Long; great grandchildren, Sarah Sparks, Frankie Beatty, Kaylee Sparks, Alex Woosley, Caleb Hopper, Megan Hoppe, Christopher Long, Ellen Mayberry, Harley Long, Heather Madden, Erin Halsey, Carter Forbes, Julia Forbes, Lorenzo Forbes, Ethan Reedy and Austin Reedy; 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Omer J. Sparks, grandchildren, Brian Long, Harold Long and Gerald Long, great grandson Ezra Forbes. Friends will be received from 11-12 noon on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon, also at the funeral home. Interment Woodville Cemetery, Wayne Twp., OH.
