Marion Bixby Phelps, 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 3. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Arthur B. and Lucy H. Bixby, she graduated in 1947 from Denison University. While working at Case Western Reserve University Dental School, she met the love of her life, the late Arthur E. Phelps. They were married for 67 years. She is survived by their four children, Sally (Mike Finn) Alspaugh of Mason, Ohio; Lucy Dreifort of Sadieville, Kentucky; Melinda Phelps of Springfield, Massachusetts; and Ted (Anne Newstedt) Phelps of Loveland, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Marion was devoted to her family, her church, Delta Gamma sorority, and many other organizations for which she volunteered her time and talents. The family wishes to thank the loving care our mom received from the exceptional staff of Twin Lakes. She will be forever loved, remembered, and sadly missed. Funeral services to celebrate a life well lived will be held Friday, January 6 at 2 pm., Faith Bible Church, 8130 E. Kemper Rd., Montgomery, Ohio with a private burial at the convenience of the family.
